Welcome to Ubuntu: The TAPP Network.

Ubuntu is an African philosophy that is most literally translated "me we" and loosely translated "I am because we are." It tells us that persons are persons only through other persons.

What would our relationships, our schools, our churches, our world look like if we lived with an awareness of our connection to one another?

When I am sick, we are sick. When you feel joy, we feel joy. I am because we are.

Laugh together. Grieve together. Ask hard questions. TELL STORIES. Never underestimate the power of conversation.

This "revolution" is a celebration of the absurd moments of hope, not matter how small they may seem.

Being with TAPP members has greatly affected us as people and as community members. A profound sense of connection with God's people is felt in the slums and villages, and that connection can be nurtured here with others who share TAPP with you.
Prossy is a member of Mutungo TAPP in Uganda. Mutungo is one TAPP's bead making branches in a surrounding area of Kampala, the capital city. This group is a place to discuss what hearing about Prossy might mean for us.
