Planning. If you want to cut down a tree for seven minutes then take three hours sharpening the axe. Working with Tapp Uganda has taught to need to plan ahead of time.

patience. such a hard word in a world of constant suffering. In times when we just want to rush out and fix everything...maybe it is ok to plan. Maybe it is what we need. Planning also assumes a future. If there is no future, then why plan?? When ...
So it seems that if you don't spend those three hours sharpening the axe... it certainly will take way longer than 7 minutes to cut down the tree... How hard is it to see the tree, and not want to bother sharpening the axe? I find that I may start...

Being with TAPP members has greatly affected us as people and as community members. A profound sense of connection with God's people is felt in the slums and villages, and that connection can be nurtured here with others who share TAPP with you.
